ACUPWR’s 350-watt power inverter converts 12 volts of DC power to either 110 or 240 volts AC via a universal car lighter plug. Voltage is selectable between 110 or 240 volts via a standard slider switch.
The 350W Power Inverter features a universal outlet receptacle compatible with plug types used throughout the world (except Type D plugs used in South Africa), along with two 5-volt/3-amp DC USB ports. Additional features include power-on and error/fault LED indicators, overload protection via two 30-amp fuses (one for 110 volts use and 240 volts use), an onboard cooling fan, and a 24-inch (including plug) connection cable.
Ideal uses for this power inverter include laptop (MacBook, Chromebook, Dell) chargers, DVD players, and electrical/electronic devices that can be used safely in a car. USB and universal AC plug ports can be used simultaneously within the unit’s 350-watt limits. Be sure to check any wattage or voltage requirements for using your car’s 12-volt DC lighter.
Note: The unit must be unplugged before switching output voltage from 110 to 240 volts.
